How to do Michelle Pfeiffer’s white tailoring from Scarface.

I remember watching Scarface as a teenager and thinking ‘this film is really legendary because of the whole ‘say hello to my little friend’ moment, but why did no one ever talk to me about the OUTFITS?! ‘

Michelle Pfeiffer gives off serious fashion icon vibes as Elvira Hancock. There’s lots of long and luxe silk dresses, plunging necklines, spaghetti straps and Studio 54 style makeup.

But my favourite Scarface outfit has to be the white tailored suit. It’s the ultimate symbol of both power and purity. And with so much head to toe white doing the rounds this season, now is the perfect time to try it.

All you need is a classic white blazer, a white pencil skirt or wrap skirt, a skinny belt and a white pair of shoes. You can keep it tailored with the belt cinched in over the jacket, or go oversized with a longline blazer and trousers (oversized tailoring is also having a moment right now).

The only thing missing for me is the old yellow Cadillac with the zebra interior. My Dad DID have zebra faux fur seat covers in his sage green Audi in the 90s, but unfortunately, he got rid.

A final tip for you. Ensure you steer clear of any pasta dishes and red wine..

Here are a few Scarface inspired separates that you can shop now.
